Six Week Longitudinal AI Citation Retrieval Test UK GEO Company Comparison

This page contains the full transcript of the video Six Week Longitudinal AI Citation Retrieval Test UK GEO Company Comparison

Hello and welcome back. It’s Paul Rowe here, Founder, Chief Generative Engine Optimisation Officer & CEO at NeuralAdX Ltd.We are going to run our live AI retrieval test two — part two. So this is our follow-up six weeks later from our initial testing.I’ll just clarify the date for you. If you focus on the screen and I hit enter, you can see that we are now on the 19th of February, 2026. The first test was undertaken on the 3rd of January, as shown in the table on our Proof page on our website. The actual query we tested was:“Which generative engine optimisation company provides the most proof of their ability to win citations in the UK?”As you can imagine, a business owner looking for a Generative Engine Optimisation service could easily construct a prompt like this.I think this question gets right to the core of what every business owner wants. It’s a very important query. If you operate in the Generative Engine Optimisation industry, this is exactly the type of prompt you would want your company to surface for.so we will now commence the testing. As usual, we will start with Google AI Mode, then move on to Microsoft Copilot, then Perplexity, and finally ChatGPT.Let’s put our eyes on the screen. The prompt is already in the search box. Let’s hit enter and see what happens.Well, we haven’t surfaced immediately in the main text results. However, I’m very glad to see that in the image carousel on the right-hand side, we are in third position.Looking at the actual text results, we have ClickSlice, then Reboot Online, Blue Array, and then ourselves — NeuralAdX Ltd.So technically, in the text output, we are in fourth position. But in the image carousel, we are in third. That is still strong brand visibility within Google AI Mode. I’m not entirely sure how best to quantify that, but to remain fair and transparent, we will say fourth position in the primary text results for this platform. Now we move into Microsoft Copilot.Let’s paste the same query and press enter. Now that is what we want to see.It states:“Based on available evidence, NeuralAdX Ltd stands out as the UK generative engine optimisation company providing the clearest, most explicit proof of their ability to win citations across AI answer engines.”Yes, indeed. We conduct multiple live AI retrieval tests, and we also carry out third-party validated AI citation tracking over extended periods. It is a lot of work.As we move further down, we can see that we have been explicitly cited. We are named directly and referenced clearly. You really cannot ask for stronger visibility than that. There is also additional mention further down the response, which is excellent from an AI citation perspective. For any potential client typing in that query, this would be very reassuring. It demonstrates alignment between what we state and how we surface within AI platforms.Right, now let’s move into Perplexity.Same prompt again.Oh — that’s a very nice result. It states:“Among UK-focused generative engine optimisation specialists, NeuralAdX Ltd is the clearest front runner in terms of publicly verifiable proof of winning citations in AI answers.”We have an explicit citation. It goes on to mention our company multiple times.I won’t read the entire paragraph, but NeuralAdX Ltd is mentioned repeatedly, with multiple explicit citations provided. So that is one, two, three explicit citations, and the company name referenced several times within the explanation.Very, very pleased with that result. Now let’s test ChatGPT.Same prompt again.Let’s see what happens.Okay, this is an unexpected response. It has referenced companies that appear to be traditional SEO agencies rather than companies specifically specialising in Generative Engine Optimisation. This highlights something important about AI engines — sometimes they interpret queries more broadly than intended. The query specifically references generative engine optimisation, yet the output appears to have leaned toward SEO agencies instead. All I can do is report the results transparently. In this instance, NeuralAdX Ltd has not surfaced within ChatGPT for this particular query at this time. That does not look great for us on this specific platform, but it demonstrates the volatility and interpretation sensitivity that still exists within AI retrieval systems. And transparency is important. So that brings this testing session to a close. As mentioned earlier, this is a six-week follow-up from our initial AI retrieval testing. There is clear evidence of citation stability and continued visibility across multiple AI platforms, particularly Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.Thank you very much for watching. If you have any questions, please do place them in the comments section below, and I will be very happy to respond.Thank you for watching. Take care.
