This child study is permanent record NADX-UKBAIVI-001 and was conducted under NeuralAdX UK Business AI Visibility Index Research Protocol v1.0, effective from 19 August 2026. Protocol v1.0 records one dated retrieval run per platform for this study: the same exact prompt, five fixed AI platforms, five primary screenshots, the live screen-recorded session, an evidence ledger and the 14 locked metric definitions.

This is a dated live-retrieval snapshot, not a permanent claim about the market. AI answers can change because of model updates, retrieval changes, source indexing, freshness and run-to-run variation. The purpose of the Index is to document what the five tested systems returned for the same prompt on the stated test date. No fixed retest schedule is promised under Protocol v1.0.

Why Citation Coverage and Citation-Backed Presence match in this snapshot: every visible own-domain citation in these five screenshots occurs on a platform where the same publication is also surfaced. They are separate locked metrics because future tests can contain a cited domain without an explicit brand recommendation.

These 14 definitions are the measurement contract for Research Protocol v1.0. Their names, formulas and denominator rules are fixed so results can be compared consistently from one UK business sector study to another.

Overall AI Visibility Rank

The publication’s overall competitive position in this combined five-platform study. Protocol v1.0 orders brands first by Cross-Platform Consensus, then Average Brand Position, then visible own-domain Domain Citations, then Brand Mentions as the final tie-breaker. The Index does not use a hidden composite score.

Brand Mentions

Total eligible textual occurrences of the publication brand across the five generated answer bodies. Citation chips, source cards, reference lists and interface labels are excluded.

Share of Voice

Brand Mentions divided by total eligible Brand Mentions across all tracked publications in the complete five-platform study, multiplied by 100. This study recorded 63 eligible brand mentions in total.

Measures how much a publication’s recommendation position changes across the tested AI platforms. Very High means little or no movement, High means small variation, Moderate means noticeable variation, and Low means substantial variation. Lower variation means greater consistency. For reproducibility, Protocol v1.0 calculates the label using population standard deviation: Very High = 0.00–0.49, High = 0.50–0.99, Moderate = 1.00–1.99, and Low = 2.00 or higher.

Total visibly attributable citations or source links to the publication’s own domain across the five captured responses. Hidden or unidentified sources are not guessed.
