How the Month 9 AI Citation Evidence Was Reviewed
The recording confirms the Month 9 reporting window, refreshes the Otterly.AI report live, explains the interface change affecting visible citation metrics, exports the citation report as CSV and uses the exported Summary data to reconstruct the comparative citation totals, citation shares and rankings stated in the video.
Reporting Window
24 July to 23 August 2026, identified in the recording as Month 9 of the ongoing benchmark.
Live Refresh
The presenter refreshes the report on screen before reviewing the Month 9 evidence.
CSV Reconstruction
Citation URLs are exported through the Citations section and Summary data, then analysed in ChatGPT to calculate the stated citation quantity, share and ranking.
Measured Signal
Comparative AI citation activity and citation-share values derived from the exported citation URL dataset for the tracked organisations.
These results record observed citation visibility within a defined tracking framework and reporting period. They do not automatically prove future AI rankings, website traffic, enquiries, sales, revenue or permanent placement in AI-generated answers.
Month 9 AI Citation Benchmark Validation Video Transcript
The transcript below has been formatted into readable paragraphs while preserving the substance, dates, organisations, numerical results and validation method stated in the original recording.
Hello, welcome back. It’s Paul Rowe here, Founder, Chief Generative Engine Optimisation Officer and CEO of NeuralAdX Ltd.
Today I’m going to take you through the Month 9 results of our AI Citation Benchmark and provide live validation of the data.
Unfortunately, Otterly.AI has recently changed the layout of its software, so the validation process is slightly different this month. The citation quantity and citation share metrics that were previously displayed directly in the report are no longer visible in the same way.
First, let me verify the benchmarking period.
As you can see on screen, the reporting period runs from 24 July to 23 August 2026. This represents Month 9 of our ongoing AI citation benchmarking.
I’m going to refresh the report now so you can see that this is a live validation of the results.
Okay, refreshed.
As we scroll down, you can see the green line representing NeuralAdX performing strongly throughout the reporting period.
Previously, Otterly.AI displayed the total citation quantity and citation share directly within this section. Following the latest software update, however, those figures are no longer shown here.
To retrieve the underlying citation data, we now have to enter the Citations section, select Export Report as CSV, go to the Summary data and export the report.
The exported data contains the individual URLs being cited across NeuralAdX and the five competing Generative Engine Optimisation and digital marketing agencies included in our benchmark.
There are thousands of citation URLs in the dataset, so calculating the citation totals manually would be extremely inefficient.
Instead, I’m going to use AI to analyse the exported dataset and calculate the citation quantity, citation share and ranking for each company.
I’ll copy the data, open a new ChatGPT conversation and ask it to decipher the citation quantity, citation share and ranking from the attached URLs and present the information in a table.
There is a substantial amount of citation data to process, but this allows us to reconstruct the metrics that Otterly.AI previously provided directly.
Now let’s look at the Month 9 AI Citation Benchmark results.
Ranking in first position is NeuralAdX Ltd, with 1,212 AI citations and a 9.56 percent citation share.
Ranking in second position is Passion Digital, with 204 citations and a 1.61 percent citation share.
Ranking in third position is ClickSlice, with 192 citations and a 1.51 percent citation share.
Ranking in fourth position is Blue Array, with 69 citations and a 0.54 percent citation share.
Ranking in fifth position is Bird Marketing, with 51 citations and a 0.40 percent citation share.
Ranking in sixth position is Exposure Ninja, with 18 citations and a 0.14 percent citation share.
So, for Month 9 of our AI citation benchmarking, covering 24 July to 23 August 2026, NeuralAdX Ltd remains in the number one position with 1,212 citations.
This ongoing AI Citation Benchmark measures how frequently NeuralAdX and competing agencies are retrieved and cited within AI-generated answers.
It provides measurable evidence of AI search visibility, citation performance and Generative Engine Optimisation performance over time.
Thank you very much for watching.
I’ll see you in the next NeuralAdX Generative Engine Optimisation and AI search video.
Take care, and thanks again. Bye-bye.
What the Month 9 Results Show
Period-specific result
Within the stated 24 July to 23 August 2026 reporting window, NeuralAdX Ltd is reported in first position with 1,212 AI citations and 9.56% citation share across the benchmark comparison set.
Why citation measurement matters
Citation counts and citation share provide observable signals for comparing how often tracked organisations appear as cited sources within the benchmark’s AI-generated answer data. They are measurement signals, not guarantees of commercial outcomes.
Validation changed, metric purpose did not
The Month 9 recording documents a workflow change caused by the Otterly.AI interface update: the citation data is exported and the comparative metrics are reconstructed from the URL dataset rather than read directly from the main report display.
For broader source-level analysis, NeuralAdX Ltd also documents an AI Answer Evidence Analysis process for examining observable AI-answer evidence, visible citations, source links and candidate supporting passages without claiming access to hidden model reasoning.
